FIRST! Customers' Top Questions Answered:

  1. My TiVo Mini is broken. Do you repair them?
    Sorry, but no. Failed TiVo Minis cannot be repaired. We sell replacements here.

  2. I think the HDMI port on my TiVo has failed. My AV receiver/TV/HDMI switcher doesn't recognize the TiVo.
    TiVos really, really do not like anything to be between them and the TV. They work best with one HDMI cable connecting the TiVo to the TV directly. If you want to pipe the audio to your surround sound system, you can then run another HDMI cable back from your TV's ARC (Audio Return Channel) port to your receiver. Please research your TV's ARC capability.

  3. I'd like to return my product. How can I get a return authorization number?
    Just fill out the email form below with your original order number as the subject of the email. We'll email full return instructions. Also, see our full return info.

  4. My TiVo is rebooting/not booting/freezing/stuttering - what's wrong?
    Most likely, that's a bad hard drive, but see the information on our TiVo troubleshooting page.

  5. Do you have any DVRs that don't require some sort of service?
    Yes! While all DVRs we currently sell require service to operate, we have many that already have the lifetime service fee on them paid. So no monthly or annual fees are needed on these. See the TiVo Bolts and older units.

  6. I'm expecting an order from WeaKnees. What's my tracking number?
    Tracking numbers are emailed at the end of each shipping day. If you haven't received an email with your shipment tracking information, please first check to see that email filters haven't intercepted the email. If you can't find it, fill out the email contact form below and we'll figure out what's up.

  7. If I upgrade my TiVo, what happens to my Lifetime Service?
    Our upgrades preserve the lifetime service of your unit. If you have lifetime service, upgrading with one of our kits will mean that your lifetime service is absolutely still in place. The same is true for prepaid annual plans.
